We woke up this morning around 8:30am and started getting ourselves ready to catch the 11:14 train into Toronto so we could catch the 1:07pm game between the Blue Jays and the Tigers.
We arrived with no travel issues and proceeded to enjoy the walk from the station to the Dome in the warmth and sunshine offered to us by the DayStar.
The Jays won, hooray.
We all went to Hooters after the game in what was admittedly a lapse in judgement by us all. Although I will say there are quite a few actually attractive ladies working there. Food could've been better, but oh well.
We caught our train back and here Tracy and I sit, watching Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
because Tracy hasn't seen it and we're too lazy to look for something else to watch at the moment. God, this movie is horrible. So much potential wasted pandering to fucking childish bullshit.
No transit strike tomorrow, which is actually good, but I was looking forward to a day of working from home.
Can someone please invent a technology where I can enter a movie and beat the shit out of stupid-ass characters?
